First Aid Annual Skills Update (ASU) Course (1/2 day)
Refresh your life-saving skills with our First Aid Annual Update course. This 1/2 day session helps existing first aiders stay confident and compliant. It meets HSE guidance and is ideal for those holding valid EFAW or FAW certificates.
The Annual Skills Update (ASU) is a short, 1/2 day course designed for existing first aiders and emergency first aiders to give them an annual update on their practical first aid skills. It is not a stand-alone first aid course and covers Basic Life Support (BLS) assessment, bandaging techniques, and shock.

Care of unconscious casualties (recovery position)

Certification and Pre-Requisites
Every delegate receives a certificate of attendance, valid for one year. This shows you’ve completed your annual skills update in line with best practice.
This course is designed for:
First Aid at Work (FAW) certificate holders
Emergency First Aid At Work (EFAW) certificate holders
Any trained first aider needing a refresher before requalification
