This Re-Qualification First Aid at Work (RFAW) course is a first aid course for re-certifying existing regulated first aiders within the workplace and is both First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) approved, and run to the current Resuscitation Council (UK) 2010 guidelines.

It is a 2 day (12-hour duration) course, designed to update and renew currently trained first aiders in their skills as per current Health & Safety recommended guidelines.

Following successful ongoing daily practical and written assessments, this course will re-qualify the successful first aider delegate for a further 3 year period from the date of expiry of their existing qualification (up to 3 months before, and up to 28 days after their expiry date).

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COURSE REQUIRES THE DELEGATE TO BE AN EXISTING HSE QUALIFIED FIRST AIDER.

Delegates presented for re-qualification by their employer or course booker require to be of suitable physical, mental and psychological disposition to be able to fully undertake the role of a first aider within the workplace. They should have good communication skills and be reliable and able to cope with stressful and physically demanding emergency procedures¹.
