Looking to learn essential life-saving skills? Our Basic Life Support (BLS) course is a short, half-day training session equips attendees with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in life-threatening emergencies. This course introduces the core principles of BLS, focusing on maintaining airway, breathing and circulation until professional help arrives.
Ideal for non-first aiders, this course is suitable for individuals in low-risk workplaces and the home. No prior first aid experience is necessary – just a willingness to learn and act in an emergency.
Course includes
Adult CPR – Learn how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on an unresponsive casualty not breathing normally.
Use of an AED – Gain hands-on experience with an automated external defibrillator, a vital tool in cardiac arrest situations.
Choking Response – Understand how to safely and effectively assist a choking adult.
Primary Survey Techniques – Learn how to assess the scene and the casualty quickly and safely.
Recovery Position – Practise placing an unresponsive but breathing person in the recovery position.
Basic Emergency Management – Know what to do until emergency services arrive.
We issue certificate of attendance is issued to each delegate on completion of this course.
